Unlock Used iPhone 6s Plus

So, I am trying to unlock an AT&T iPhone that I purchased off of eBay, but it keeps saying "Looks like the IMEI number you entered doesn’t match an AT&T device." even though I'm sure it is an AT&T device because I can't use it with any other carrier. I don't think it is blacklisted or have any issues because I was able to use the phone with H2O wireless perfectly fine for over a year. Other answers say that I should be on the AT&T plan for at least 6 months, but I don't want to spend extra on getting an AT&T plan again. Any help is appreciated!

Hello @NinjaStorm65, allow us to lend a helping hand. We recommend submitting the request again. If it's rejected, please let us know the exact error message you are receiving.

Devices locked to the AT&T network are required to have either 60 days of postpaid service or 6 months of prepaid service before they're eligible to be unlocked.

You can read more about the eligibility requirements by following the link provided. Thanks for reaching out to us.

Hello @NinjaStorm65.

Because the phone was purchased secondhand, we would not be able to investigate why it is not in our system. It may be possible to enter it into our systems by starting service, but the device would still have to meet the time requirements of 60 days postpaid or 6 months PREPAID to be eligible for unlock.

Awww man. Oh well, I'll just go buy a new iPhone that is unlocked since I have already paid for the other carrier's service and sim card. Thank you for the assistance though!
