UNKNOWN "message not found"
I just received a text from "Unknown" with the actual text reading "Message not found."
This is the first and only time this has happened. I also have been experiencing lower signal than normal at my work when for the last 3.5 months working here I haven't had an issue.
PLEASE HELP!

Thank you for joining the Community Forums. I would be completely baffled if I received a message from Unknown with Message not found in the body. I would be happy to look into this for you.
After researching into this issue I’m finding this usually happens with iMessage when there is an error in delivering a text. Please try a soft reset on your device. This does not remove any personal information and helps refresh the connections.
iPhone 6S+ and under
Hold and press the Power and Home button until the Apple logo appears.
iPhone 7 and 7+
Hold and press the Power and Volume down button until the apple logo appears.
If the issue persists try turning off iMessages to see if the problem replicates. If it does, please use our Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool. Make sure your device is selected, and then for the issue choose Messaging.
As for the service issues in your office, is there any new buildings going up around the business or any additions added to the building? I ask because usually when there is a loss of signal it is because something was built which blocks the signal.

I just started experiencing this issue this week on my iPhone X ... messages coming through 50 at a time from “Unknown” and the “Message Not Found”.
I’ve reset my phone and more are coming through.
How can I fix this issue????

Starting yesterday I am getting all of my group family texts with this error. Have restarted my iPhone X several times - each time the balance of the texts come through, but with unknown as the sender and Message not found as the text. I know this is the case, because my spouse is getting all the messages and the message count is the same.

This is happening to me too! I just bought an iPhone X and all of my group messages have been coming through hundreds at a time. With loads of Unknown texts as well. This is very frustrating. Someone please help!

Totally agree, I've been trying to access messages that I know are coming through a group text and all I get are "unknown" coming in on an entirely new text thread.
