Apple has listened to our suggestions and made many improvements on iOS. iOS 11 brings powerful new features to the iPhone. Below are some of the features I thought stood out:
New Control Center
iOS 11 lets you customize the redesigned Control Center so you can change the settings for the things you do most. Want to be ready when inspiration hits? Add a Voice Memos control. Want to dim the lights in the dining room with a tap? Add Home controls. Or use 3D Touch in Control Center to unlock even more commands.
New Photo Features – New filters take the camera to another level. Portrait photos are more expressive. Skin tones are more natural. And even better, next generation compression technology makes the same quality photos half the file size. Your Live Photos are more expressive than before. Loop, bounce, and long exposure allow you to capture life moments in a fun way.
A much needed app for the iPhone is finally here. Your iPhone is transitioning more into a personal computer, and the file manager allows you to easily move, copy, or copy them. Plus, if you are working on a big project or just need some other input, you can invite people to collaborate with you and provide them access to certain files. It also integrates with some other cloud services, such as Google Drive and Dropbox, with more to come.
Maps continually improves. From indoor maps to lane guidance arrows, it’s easier than ever to get around. Indoor maps provides detailed maps of major airports and shipping centers around the world. Lane guidance now helps you avoid missing a turn or an exit by showing you which lane you should be in when you’re navigating. It even lets you know the speed limit of the road you’re on!
Do Not Disturb
iPhone can now sense when you might be driving and help keep you from being distracted by calls, text messages, and notifications. People trying to message you can automatically be notified that you’re driving. #ItCanWait
