Text messages not received


Text messages not received

I upgraded my phone on Friday afternoon. Since then, I’ve missed at least 2 text messages. This isn’t the 1st time this has happened. Just like voicemails popping up days later. What is happening AT&T?! Is there a way to retrieve these messages and can you shore up this system? I’d hate to change carriers.

Hello there @Shana27!


Let's look into that for you. Depending on the make and model of your device, use our Device Support tool to reset the network settings.


Also, should your experience persist despite the previous step, try reseating your SIM card by removing it from the slot and reinserting it after 30 seconds.

@Shana27, I have been having that issue for a while & I didn't get a new phone. I've contacted AT&T. They have tried the things that were suggested to you, but none of it fixed the issue.
