Swapping Phone Numbers and devices (complicated)
What I would like to do in the future ...
Transfer an At&t iphone number away from AT&T to a flip phone on another service
Have a replacement number for the iphone I just vacated.
Currently we are using the iphone for business and personal simultaneously. The goal is to put the business phone on a seperate line flip phone with another phone provider and get a new number for the personal iphone.
Current Situation
IPhone - Phone Number 1 (Business and Personal w/ ATT)
Goal Situation
Iphone - New Phone Number 2 (Personal w/ ATT)
New Phone - Phone Number 1 (Business w/ Ting)
Is this feasible? What steps should I take to accomplish this?

Line = phone number.
Phones are immaterial
1. If the line you want to move out of ATT is a business line (on a business account), it must first be transferred to a postpaid personal account. It can then be ported out of ATT.
2. Add the new number to your account. Insert the SIM card for the new number into the existing iPhone.
Dont over think it. To avoid screw ups I advise this be done in an ATT company store.
If there is a balance on the iPhone, it will have to bevpaid off.

Your welcome. If the Account the exiting phone is on is not considered business, you can skip the interrum step and have it ported direct to Ting.
