Question for Apple Savvy Individuals..
When setting up my new phone it had me change my current apple id from just a name to an email address. Will I be able to restore the applications I had with the previous apple id?

hubby had that problem too ...... but yes, he was able to get everything transferred from just the username to the email address apple ID

However, note that, when upgrading, it should offer you the email address associated with your Apple ID. If you use a different email address, it may create a new Apple ID, in which case you need to revert to the old one.
