Problems not getting messages after switching from iPhone to something else

I saw this article and thought it might be helpful as we often see people having this issue.

Thanks for tip, I've been battling apple over this issue for 31 days now and still no solution. Here is a 27 page discussion in the apple forum with every solution you can think of but unfortunately for some people none of these work. 

 

At this point I think the only way this will get fixed is if the FCC forces apple to discontinue imessage until it is fixed. I would encourage anyone having this issue to go to the link below and file a complaint.

What will the FCC do?  Apple will not disable iMessage for this.
