No sounds on I Phone for calls and texts. ???
I have an I Phone 5 and recently I'm missing calls and texts because the sound is not
working. I went back and made sure the sounds I want are set, but when I call my
cell phone from my landline, it notifies me onscreen, but no sound is heard. What am
I not doing? Thanks so much for help.

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Community Forums! I understand how not being properly notified of incoming messages or calls can be a nuisance, and would love to get this issue resolved for you!
There is a switch near the volume buttons, which would put your phone on silent mode; please ensure this is not activated. You can see where the Silent Switch displayed here. If not, I would recommend performing a Soft Reset by pressing and holding the Power button and the Home button at the same time, until the Apple Logo appears onscreen. This is a great troubleshooting step you can use to get this issue corrected.
Another thing to check would be the Do Not Disturb mode. You can see how to disable this here, if necessary. If the issue persists, we also have an awesome resource called the Troubleshoot & Resolve tool, which you can find here. Once here, you will need to select the correct make and model of your phone, and then select Audio, under the Device/Software Issues section. This will provide the necessary steps to get this problem taken care of for you.

Iphone 7 when a call or text comes in it does not ring, has no volume, been that way for about 3 weeks
