No service on new phone

My old phone’s screen cracked and I filed a claim and got a new phone. I backed it up from ICcloud but still don’t have service on the new phone. How do i fix this? Do I need to shut down my old phone?

I am glad you were able to replace the device! I understand how important it is to have working service. I would love to help!


When you receive a replacement device, we want to make sure it is updated in our system. For this, please use our link on Activate Your Device. This will have you input the information for the device received.


Once you have completed the above, please make sure the SIM is not moved, this can cause the phone not to connect correctly to AT&T towers.


If still having issues after completing all the steps, our Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool will be a great resource, this will diagnose the service issue and resolve it. For accurate troubleshooting, please choose your Make & Model >Calls.
