I have an iPhone 7- after a recent update, when I want to send a text message, I used to select a person on my list-scroll down and select "send Message"- at that point the message box appeared -I wrote a message and sent it- no problem---- However, when I do it now, when I hit "send message"- the next box to appear is the list of messages I have already sent to others and it does not give me a message box to send to the person I selected. I also find when tapping the phone icon at the bottom- the phone does not always respond to bringing up the phone option. These problems are fairly recent and started after a recent update

When trying to “Send Message”, are you continuing a previous conversation, or starting a new message thread with this contact? With this information, we will be able to further look into this issue for you. In the meantime, you can also check out our Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool here to determine the cause of this issue, as well as receive necessary steps to get this corrected.
