Many pages on FaceBook don't load unless WiFi is turned on

Recently my iPad Pro 9.7 stopped displaying many of my FaceBook pages unless I click on WiFi.  I've got all settings to cellular data and about 50% of the pages I try to click on won't load - if I click on WiFi those pages open.  This just started happening about a week ago.  There are no issues on my iPhone 6Plus - all settings are the same.

I have been over the setting a dozen times.  I've deleted the FaceBook app, rebooted the iPad, re-installed the FB app...  it's still now displaying certain pages when on cellular.

I reset all settings....  this didn't help either.

I have done everything I can think of except removing all data and reinstalling apps....

Has anyone else had any problems such as this??  How can I get it back to where it was....  all pages displaying on FaceBook using cellular data and NOT WiFi....   ??????

Good afternoon @elktonrn,

A strange issue like this can definitely be bothersome. The good news is you have reached the right place for assistance and I would be glad to help out!

The steps you have taken in order to fix this are a great way to resolve this kind of problem and I thank you for taking the time to perform the troubleshooting!

It’s strange how it affects your iPad only, especially after resetting everything. This is not a trending or known issue as far as my research. I recommend checking for updates in the app store. Keeping it up to date always helps clear up issues such as this.

Please also make sure you have Cellular data to be used under the Facebook app. You can get there by following this path: Settings > Cellular Data > Scroll down to desired app.

I hope this information helps you out! Please let us know how it goes.

Best regards.

Then check the settings within the FB app.

Clear cache on both browsers of opening outside links fail to load.

The thing is if mobile data is working...then it is working and the issue is server side or a problem with a setting on the phone or application.

So if you load Facebook in Safari does everything work like it should?
