MIC Problems: Apple IPhone 7

My Apple IPhone 7 is not working properly. I can make and receive phone calls but no one can hear me. When my phone rings, the speaker, facetime, or add call functions are not highlighted. Once answered the the facetime and add call function becomes available. My phone is operating on the 12.1.2 software.

We'd love to help with this! Have you tried a soft reset yet? If not, press and hold down the Volume Down and the Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple logo, then release both buttons. If the audio on your iPhone isn't restored after, then try Apple's troubleshooting steps for audio issues on your device. Let us know if this helps.
