Lost 'settings' icon on my 3gs

Question

I lost my settings icon on my 3gs.  I have tried truning off and a hard reset.  The phone is less than a week old. Any suggestions?  Thank you

Try this. Go back to settings via the search. Go to Generalresetreset home screen layout. You will need to reorganize your icons but everything should be back.Good luck and let us know what happens.

See if it was moved into another folder?  (This is what I am guessing has happened.  slide to the screen all the way to the left to bring up the search page and type 'settings'  If that does not work, you may need to restore and setup your phone again as new.

Did you jailbreak your iPhone? There is not really a way to hide it that I am aware of.

I cant slide icon and I have no folders and no it is not jailbroken.

From Working as a CSR I have noticed this a lot on Iphones, don't know how its done, the only way I have found out to get it back is to do a restore on the phone.
