In adequate and poor service from operators and supervisors

In adequate and poor service From operators and supervisors. I pay $85 for unlimited plus $20 more for 10 GB of hotspot and was robbed of my hotspot because it kept shutting down during a download trying to sync my computer to my iPhone so I can find my iPhone if it is lost or stolen. It would not let me complete my sink and had to restart which used up all my data and I never got to complete the one thing I wanted to do. All they told me was give more money pay more, how is that going to help it it wouldn’t let me do what I needed to do in the first place without shutting down constantly. Somebody should contact me or I will quit service which I have been with since the beginning of cell phones! I’ve never felt so taken advantage of as I do now!

You could have cabled the phone to computer and not used any data.

Not that it is correct anyway.  You can login to find my iPhone on the computer with Apple ID and find your phone.  Syncing is not required.  https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201253

How is to use find my iPhone

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201472

If itunes is not up to date I can see an update being required and sync failing.

Hello @MarsonsHurt

Thanks for the post.

Setting up Find My iPhone to help you locate and protect your Apple device - if it's ever lost or stolen, can be done from your iPhone by signing into https://soc.att.com/2RaTKor, or the Find My iPhone app. Using the method will eliminate the need to use any Hotspot data in the future.

  1. Start at your Home screen.
  2. Tap Settings > [your name] > iCloud. For iOS 10.2 or earlier, go to Settings > iCloud.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Find My iPhone.
  4. Slide to turn on Find My iPhone and Send Last Location.
  5. If you're asked to sign in, enter you Apple ID. If you forgot it, we can help you find it.
  6. Once you set up Find My iPhone, your paired Apple Watch and AirPods are set up too.

If you prefer to Sync your iPhone with iTunes using your mobile Hotspot feature, we suggest using a USB cable to Sync your iPhone to your PC/MAC. This too, will help conserve Hotspot data.

We appreciate your loyalty since the beginning! We would like to review your account in detail so we are sending a Private Message (PM). Please check your Forums Inbox for a PM from ATTCares and reply so we can get to work.

I called the call center to add a single line of service using an old number and consolidate services . The salesperson lied about the entire deal she sold me on and I now have two direct tv accounts w/ four mobile lines a separate internet bill and separate direct tv bill , lied about being able to transfer a number over from another plan as we were consolidating our plans. The retrina then went on to say that I would receive a increased military discount from 15 to 25 percent, however come to find out that is not only incorrect but the discount does not apply to the new plan I was coached into paying for She went as far as to provide us a direct cell phone number to call her on that has since been conveniently disconnected, but her name is Trina C. And she works in the Orlando call center. We received two new iphone 10 s’s without any agreement being documented so we could not even activate the phone upon receiving them . We had to have the rep at the local store to call into the ivr center and she had to argue with them for two hours before being able to activate these phones. Overall I spent over 8 hrs dealing with this mess and I now have a $450 per month bill Not including the tv and internet bill which was not bundled as it was supposed to be. I have been an Att customer for about ten years and I am very displeased with you to the point where I may end up cancelling direct tv the mobile lines and the internet and be done with you. Someone needs to look into this

Not really enough information.  If you switched to the new unlimited data plan, and already had military discount, your discount will kick in and credit back to when you changed plan.  Can’t say why the rest of it’s a mess.  But you DO NOT want wireless combined with the rest of your services.
