I have posted 2 questions about my iPhone 5S unlock denail and they both have disapeared, WHY? Or why to my original question listed below.
I posted 2 identical questions, the second after the first disapeared which then disapeared.
My questions were about why was my unlock request denied for my old 5S which I have had for over 2.5 years and recently replced it with a 7 Plus.

bubacash,
If the phone isn't active on your plan, you have to request the unlock code as a non-AT&T customer.

Yeah, that's the solution. Submit as non-customer. If it has no active SIM and isn't in use, then there doesn't have to be account info. 😄

Thank you, I chose non-AT&T customer and the unlock worked like a charm. I always asssumed that since I was an AT&T customer that I had to choose AT&T Customer since my email address was attached to my account and iPhone.
I was wrong and you guys set me straight.
Again thank you.
