This can definitely be a difficult situation when your phone’s screen won’t respond. I’ve had it happen to me once or twice in the past. The good thing is you came to the right place to get this worked out!
If your iPhone is having trouble turning on, I would recommend trying a soft reset. This does not delete any personal information on your device. If you have an iPhone 6s or lower, just press and hold the Power and Home keys at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then let go. If you have an iPhone 7, press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons instead.
Apple Support also has a great article on what other steps you can take if your iPhone’s screen is black. I hope these options help out and you’re able to get it back up and running!

If Siri works, then you have probably activated guided access. Triple click home button to stop
