We're happy to help!
It is recommended to back up and store your device photos and media files before a factory reset. You will not be able to bypass the security locked screen until you reset your device and then create a new security passcode.
You can also use our AT&T Device Support Portal by selecting the cellphone brand/model you have, then got to Tutorials & Videos > Security for additional steps.
