Email inbox not loading on apple iPad and iPhone. have deleted account and added again.

My wife has the same problem with her iPhone 6 and iPad Pro. The Inbox, using Mac Mail does not receive mail, however, the Junk, Sent To & Trash boxes all receive mail. I added my att.net account to her iPad Pro and it works normally. Her att.net account works normally on our desktop Mac. Go figure.

It seems this is a common problem with yahoo based att mail. Yahoo now is owned by Verizon and it seems this is causing an issue with finding solutions to this server issue. I’m still waiting and frustrated with att.
