Can't create custom greeting in my voicemail

I’m sorry to hear you’re unable to record a custom voicemail greeting.

Have you tried performing a soft reset on your device? (Press and hold Home and Power buttons until your device reboots)

Are you able to record a greeting by dialing into your voicemail? (Press and hold 1 on your keypad)

Have you turned Wi-Fi off and made sure that your phone can connect to LTE?

I've tried performing a soft reset several times. Also, pressing and holding 1 allows me to record a greeting but then sends it to my phone as a voicemail! Please help! 😒
