Calendar Alert Problem

In the calendar after I have added the event, I then add a first alert reminder . When I add a second alert reminder, The dates and times of both reminders then switch them around so that the first alert is changed to the date and time for the second alert. The second alert is changed to the date and time for the first alert. How do I fix this?
