CDC cc. F.G

I noticed on my iPhone that in the mailboxes section, when I open ATT mailbox the dropdown includes folders like inbox, draft, sent, junk, trash... and now CDC cc. F.G and wondering what this is? Never saw it before and when I open it the folder is empty. Just a little concerned with the yahoo cyber break in... if anyone knows what this is please let me know... thanks!

Good afternoon @War1today,

I completely understand the concern when it comes to your privacy, especially email. I’m elated to help and share some information with you!

If you see any folders in your email you’re unfamiliar with, you can try to delete the folder. If you feel as though your Yahoo! account has been compromised, I would advise changing your password and logging out and then back in.

I hope this helps out! Have a great night!

Hey there @War1today!

It’s great to hear back from you so soon!

I went ahead and looked deeper into this for you to see if I could find anything about CDC cc. F.G showing up as email folders. After deep research I was not able to find anything in relation to this from us. I can assure you we would never create any new folders in any email accounts without prior knowledge.

I would recommend updating your email password to ensure it’s secure. This way, you can be positive only you have access to your email.

Once again, thank you for reaching out to us here on the Community Forums. It was a pleasure being able to assist you. If anything else should arise, we will be right here to help! Have a wonderful week.
