Because of certain AT&T guidelines, we aren’t able to unlock this device

It's fully paid off. I upgraded to an iPhone 7s from iPhone 6 and I am trying to unlock the iPhone 6. Not sure if its already unlocked.

I can definitely understand how upsetting this issue can be, especially when you’re wanting to unlock the previous phone after a new upgrade. Congrats on the new iPhone 7s by the way!

 

Do you recall when the new phone upgrade was done? There is usually a 14 day buyer’s remorse period that places the previous phone on a “freeze” before you’re allowed to unlock.

 

If this is not the case and it has been longer than that required time, please send me a private message so I can check on that for you and make sure that’s not the hold up.
