Att Prepaid $45 plan doesnt work on ipad mini 2
Hello, I have the $45/6 GB plan and it works fine on my phone, but sometimes I want to switch the sim card to use in my att ipad mini2, when i do this I'm able to get a signal fine, however if i try to go to a webpage, any webpage, im redirected to a att website that states that i do not have any data and that i should add a data package at att.com/myprepaid. please help.

The system views tablets and phone differently. The $45 plan is intended for phones while tablets have their own prepaid plans. An easier solution would be to turn on hotspot and just share the data with the iPad that way.
Otherwise the IMEI number has to be updated in the system every time you swap SIM cards which means you would probably have to call any time you switch.
