my voice mail is telling customers my voice may is full. It's not. i deleted them with visual voice

was told to go into non-visual voice mail using 1 key.  did that.  worked for bit.  but always have to re-set voice mail. Now it says my vm password is already used.  hours later it works.  I tired changing my outgoing message last night, but it wouldnt post it. kept giving the default to callers.  This morning I was able to pout in new message.   this is very real problem for my business.  Anyone else having problems.  we have an iphone 6

And the worst is that ATT does not take calls after 7 pm.  we have a business account with them and they are a phone company.  we answer phones after 7, customers call us until 9 and may leave messages after hours.  now they are getting full voice mail messages and default messages.  are there better carriers??
