Check out your Snapchat support page. Snapchat has rolled out an update for iOS users where you won’t have to have the app open to answer calls. You can turn off your snap notifications if you don’t want calls logged in your iOS.

do snap calls show up on your phone bill?

Hello Alyssagappa, Snap chat calls will not show up on your bill. No phone numbers or details would be display. Only the data usage you have had while using apps on your phone. Hope this helps.
