unlock s8 plus

hi, i have an s8 plus and i want to unlocked it to use here in uruguay with another carrier. I put the imei in the att page to get the code but the answer was that they can not give me the code because the cellphone have been inactive for more than 6 months...

We can help you with that. We like to advise that in order for your device to qualify for unlock it must be active on the AT&T network for at least 6 months and meet our other eligibility requirements.
