troubleshoot at&t email

can't sign on my at&t email on my phone. email works just fine on laptop.

Hello @mango2!

 

I understand how this would be puzzling, being able to access your account from one device but not from the other. But not to worry, this happens sometimes but it can be fixed without much effort.

 

As a first step, let’s remove your AT&T account from the device:

 

  • Please navigate to your device’s Settings.
  • Under "Personal," tap Accounts
  • Tap your AT&T email account.
  • Tap the Menu button (three vertical dots located on the upper-right corner) and then Remove account.

 

Afterwards we will add it again, it’s a similar process but the Add account button is located under the Accounts section of your settings. Please make sure to select Yahoo! from the list of preset providers, in order to simplify the setup process.

 

This should fix the problem, but in case it doesn’t, we will need to do a quick test to determine where the issue is at. Please download the Yahoo! Email app from the Play Store (Yahoo! manages our email services) and proceed to login on your AT&T account. If it doesn’t work the problem may be on the mobile side of things.
