i really want to unlock my zte phone,and whenever i enter my imei number i get this error. i am not a customer, please dont make this hard for me.

I understand how important it is to unlock your device and it will be my pleasure to assist you!
The reason why you are receiving this message is because you are applying as a customer. When on the unlock portal page the first question would be “Are you an AT&T wireless customer?” Please select No.
Once this is done, you can fill out the rest of the form as normal. Please keep in mind to check your email as a confirmation link will be sent to it. You will receive your unlock email in two to three business day!

Thank you for responding so promptly. I am glad you received your confirmation email.
When you received your confirmation email, did it state the successful unlock? If so, the unlock code should have been included in the email message.
You can always check our Device Unlock Status as well. This tool will show you all the details regarding your unlock.
If your browser is having network issues, try using a different browser. For example, if you are using Internet Explorer, try out Mozilla FireFox.

The unlock process can take up to two business days to complete, so you can expect the Unlock Code in your e-mail within two business days of the confirmation e-mail.

While we regularly have device unlock cases done within two business days, it can sometimes be extended. We do try to advise the possibility of extra time for the process, especially when encountering a holiday weekend. We’ve also had a few cases where the unlock was approved, but no confirmation email was sent out.
I recommend checking the unlock status page with the IMEI and Request Number. Once approved, it will show the code as well as the final steps to complete the unlock!

I am so sorry you are still having this issue.
When you are checking on your request, are you using a request number with CM in the front of it? If so, you may be using a Case Number which does not work with the online system.
If you contacted us via chat or called to have an unlock case submitted on your behalf, you should receive an email once the unlock has been completed by the back office team!

I know how important GPS is in today’s world! I’m more than happy to help you out!
Are you able to use your GPS normally with other apps, or is it only this particular app having trouble?
I recommend checking to see if there is an update for the application. If the app is up to date, I suggest removing the application completely and then re-adding it.
Another option is you can complete a master reset on the phone itself. Our handy Device Support Page can give you the information on how to complete a backup of your phone and a factory reset. Once you reach the page you will want to choose your device’s make and model > Tutorials > Troubleshooting> Reset Device.
