Good morning @poocasi,

Allow us to lend a helping hand. Follow the instructions below,

  • Swipe down from the top of your screen to pull up your home screen settings
  • Look through the icons until you see one that resembles a small torch
  • Tap the torch icon to disable to flashlight

When your screen blacks out how long does it stay dark? Does tapping the screen make your device light up again? Thank you.

If not, try resetting the phone. For example, I never use a flashlight on my phone because I always have a LED light with me https://www.thegrommet.com/products/vont-collapsible-led-lantern-set-of-2. And because the LED does not heat up since it runs on low voltage, which provides a high degree of fire safety. Because of this property, LEDs are increasingly used in recessed floor luminaires because the risk of getting burned stepping on it barefoot, reduced to zero. LEDs are resistant to mechanical damage due to the absence of fragile elements such as glass bulbs or filaments.
