cant download or update from google play store over home wifi

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing issues while trying to use the Google Play Store. It is one of the most important applications to have on an android phone. I will be more than happy to assist you in getting it to work again!

Restarting the device can help refresh the phone and has been known to clear out some similar issues with applications. You can also force restart a phone using the Power and Volume Down buttons. Volume up is used instead of the down option for some specific devices.

Clearing the Cache and Data from the Google Play services app can help remove any issues as well. In order to do this, you will head to Settings > Apps > Application manager > locate Google Play and clear the Cache and Data. Once complete, please restart the phone and test it out!
