XT1058 unlock Bootloader, but IMEI not found !!
As the title says, I tried to request the unlock code for my XT1058 from AT&T but the page says the IMEI has no records.
How can that be?
Am I missing something?
PS: I bought the phone from an American while he was visiting UAE (where I live).

one your not getting a bootloader unlock code from ATT.
The unlock code you will get is for sim unlock so you can use the phone on another carrier. Does your phone work now?

The phone's working fine even with a local sim.
And why won't I receive a Bootloader unlock code?
Edit:
Yeah turns out you're right. I confused carrier-lock with device bootloader lock. :S
