Why Does the HTC One VX Screen Keep Turning on at Random????

Question

Is there an app to keep the screen turned off AT ALL TIMES until I press the power button????? The screen just seems to come on at random and at certain events when I don't want it to.

The screen turning on makes it completely unusable as a pocket phone. The screen turns on after a phone call ends (for no apparent reason). The screen turns on while sitting still on a desk. The screen turns on while sitting in a pocket and listening to music via a headset.

KEEP THE SCREEN OFF!!!!!

Hmm, that seems non-typical. I have a couple VX devices here; I'll see if I can replicate the issue, but it sounds more like an app-caused issue than something to do with the phone.

Which apps do you have running? You can find this via Settings > Apps > Running
