Phone: HTC A9
When accessing voicemail I get the "Service Not Available" message. It has been this way for the last 5 days ...
This is the first time this has happened in the last 4 years.
Thank you ...

It's been 10 days or more. Does the vendor not have an ETA by now when we will be able to check our voicemail again and get the notification off my phone?

HA I am at day 11! Was told that the engineers were updating the service at day 3. On day 5 a ticket was opened. On day 6 told that there was a vendor issue!.

Will my bill be adjusted since I didn't get the full service I am paying for? Also I am job hunting and prospects are calling and leaving messages I can't check. THIS HAS PUT ME AND MY FAMILY A FINANCIAL BIND!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for getting back to us!
We apologize for the inconvenience. This is a top priority and AT&T is working around the clock to provide a resolution. Please try accessing your voicemail using the Visual Voicemail app.
Hope this helps!

I've had this same problem for 4 days. I spent 45 mins on a chat with ATT yesterday and finally was told it would be fixed by end of day yesterday. Still not fixed and I'm seeing more people with same problem. The outage map is bright red, so something is going on. ATT isn't addressing the cause or when they can resolve it. Read the posts online. Come on ATT, give us answers!

Both my husband and myself are having the same problem, not receiving voicemails, he has a S 9 and I have pixel 3a xl we are with ATT. Who can we contact.

Do they say when it will be solved? I've tried calling Tech support, got transferred 3 times, then went to an actual AT&T store, no one has been able to tell me what the issue is! I've been getting the "service unavailable" message for the last 2 days

Same issue: no voicemail for over a week; the AT&T rep I got on the phone was clueless and couldn't offer anything beyond "restart your phone" and "I will send you a link to a self-help page" (which btw he never did). I am done with AT&T.

It's been at least 10 days with "service not available" on two phones. I don't look forward to spending who knows how long on the phone trying to get this resolved. If it is a vendor server issue, they should be able to spin up new servers in 24 hours and switch the non-working voicemail numbers over to the new server farm so at least we could get voicemails going forward. Any major managed service provider should be able to help them resolve this quickly.

Been having this problem for over 2 weeks now. Chats, (non)Tech Support, online fixes, nothing works. Installed YouMail app. Up and running in less than 10 minutes. Wonder if ATT is looking for any network techs, since they don't have any now. Wife and I were in ATT store last week. They told us to wait it out until "engineers" fix problem. These people should have gotten a job at Improv. They couldn't help us with voicemail problem but would have been more than happy to sell us new upgraded phones. That probably still wouldn't have worked. Been with ATT for more than 12 years and we were thinking about upgrading. We'll still upgrade. First to a real cell service !!

That's not what I and other people in this trend wrote!! I *am* getting voicemail notification alerts, and I *am* living in an AT&T coverage zone, and have not moved anywhere. I and others do not have a problem with notification alerts, WE SIMPLY CANNOT CONNECT TO THE FREAKING VOICEMAIL. Out calls to voicemail end up in a message: "Service is not available. Good-bye". THIS is the problem. And no, turning phones on and off doesn't help. As if we haven't tried gazillion times!

Absolutely ridiculous. Consumers pay way too much for this!!!! I'm so frustrated. Agreed that we should all contact FCC. This is not okay! Im expecting voicemails and this is very crucial for so many! We should all be compensated somehow. Will likely be leaving AT&T.
AT&T executives and CEO need to take responsibility as well.
