Verizon HTC One Max - compatible with AT&T LTE?

Hello,

I'm considering purchasing a One Max, and I'm curious whether it'll work with AT&T LTE bands. I see that the frequencies required match up - but are there any other requirements that I'm overlooking?

If you have any, I'd appreciate some confirmation or warning before I pull the trigger.

Thanks in advance!

yes it will work on gsm and hspa but no you wont get LTE.

Liz all verizon phones have gsm and cdma.  Under 700c block restrictions verizon has to ship the phones sim unlocked.

its hardware there are no bands in the phone for ATT.  Band 2,4,5,17 are what ATT uses for LTE.

Are you sure? It's both GSM and CDMA compatible, and the person I'm buying
it from is using it on t-mobile now.

Does the phone being unlocked change that at all, or is it a hardware
issue?

Thanks for the help.

.....and the point is? LTE won't work on AT&T.

While the phones are shipped sim unlocked it doesn't effect the manufacturers configuring before shipping or the differences in network config. If he purchases a Verizon branded phone he will be disappointed because it won't work (fully) on AT&T.

My point was you stated it would not work at all.  Yes you wont get LTE but the phone will work other than that.

He specifically asked about LTE. I said specifically answered no.

I got a simple no, when asking if I could use my unlocked iPhone and
GS3 from Verizon on AT&T. No qualifications, just no.

the best iphone to buy are the verizon 5s,6,6+  if you are paying full retail because it can be used on any carrier.  Tmobile is the same way with the 6,6+.   makes them easier to resell.
