Unlocking s7

I have recieved the unlock code, reremoved the sim card, powered off the phone, but on power up, i am not prompted for the unlock code. I have even tried putting the new sim card and still no prompt for code.

Please help.

The unlock procedure calls for installing a third party sim card and turn on the phone.to get the prompt for the unlock code. However when I unlock my S7 Edge, I did not get the prompt for unlock code following that procedure. There is an alternate way that will work for S7. Enter the following code and you will get the prompt: #7465625*638*#
