Unlocking phone
We purchased at full price 2 Samsung S8 phones. We called ATT and we were assured that they were unlocked. We used the phone for 2 months on Straight Talk before moving overseas. When we tried to insert our local SIM, the phone states that we need an unlock code. When trying to follow the unlock device steps on the ATT site, we are informed that our device is currently being used by an ATT customer. How do we get our phone unlocked?

ATT phones are locked out of the box, no matter how purchased. If you purchased through ST, you have to unlock through them.
