Unlocking my Note 5

I ended my contract early with AT&T and paid my final bill with all the early termination fee and prorated charge.  My payment posted on 04/02/16, when I try and unlock my phone it's still showing that I'm still under the contract.  Question is it too soon to request an unlock?  I believe I read some where that it's 24hrs after my last payment gets posted.  Please help, I would like to use my phone on a different carrier.

It is supposed to update once the fees are paid but it seems that sometimes it takes a week or until the next billing cycle for the account to update to show that the phone is fully paid and eligible for unlocking.

You may be able to speed up the process by private messaging @ATTMobilityCare with your account and contact information and concern.
