Unlocked T-Mobile LG G PAD X 8.0 now on AT&T - Can't send or receive text messages

I have an Unlocked T-Mobile LG G PAD X 8.0, now connected to AT&T data network.  I cannot send or receive text messages either with the stock Messaging app that came with the tablet, or any 3rd party apps I've downloaded from Play store.  I can surf the web, play Youtube videos, etc., but no texting. After unlocking the tablet, I discovered there was no longer an APN, so I created a new APN from instructions supplied by AT&T tech.  This enabled the tablet to connect to AT&T network, so we now have data access for everything else except for sending Text messages.  I installed the "AT&T Messages" app as instructed by tech support, and was able to go through the initial setup of the app successfully, but when I attempt to run the app, all I get is a blank white screen.

I am sorry to hear your LG G Pad has not been able to send text messages since connecting it with AT&T’s Network. I know how important messaging can be for any device. I will be more than happy to assist!
