Not having your text message services working properly can definitely be bothersome. I am sorry you are experiencing this. I will be glad to assist you!
APN settings are something very important if you are using an unlocked phone from another carrier. We have a Support Article which can help get them set properly or just check to ensure they are correct.
The Troubleshoot & Resolve tool can help walk you through some of the troubleshooting steps and also resend signals to your device as well if you are logged into your account. Make sure to choose your specific make and model before selecting Service/Network Issues > Messaging.
