I do apologize you have not been able to access your new AT&T Trek 2 tablet. I can definitely help you out with that!

Since the device is enabled with this security feature, I would advise to do an Alternate Master Reset.

This option will erase all data such as your apps, photos, and music from your device.

1. Try the Alternate master reset method by first powering the device off.
2.     With your device powered off, press and hold down the Power key, Volume-up key simultaneously more than 15 seconds until device goes to Android recovery mode.
3.     Choose language using the Volume up/down key.
4.     Use the Power key to select chosen language.
5.     Press the Volume-down key to scroll down until 'wipe data/factory reset' is highlighted.
6.     Press the Volume-down key to scroll down until 'Yes -- delete all user data' is highlighted.
7.     Press the Power/Lock key to begin the reset process.
