Terrible Device Unlock Pin Experience
Hello,
I am a T-Mobile Customer and had my phone smashed and cracked. Due to financial issues, I can't buy a new phone. I did, however, have access to my deceased grandmothers phone that had the same SIM card slot. Since it was an AT&T phone, it rejected my SIM from T-Mobile and asked for a "SIM Network Unlock PIN". That brought me here to this unpleasant experience.
I went through the process to get the device unlock pin through AT&T and painfully waited out the two day time period only to get an email back saying, "Your request for device unlock requires additional research to determine eligibility". So I have to wait EVEN LONGER to get the only phone that I have available to work with my SIM.
I did call AT&T and the only thing that they said was to do it online. So I am very frustrated at the situation.
