Hello, @Baan212,
We'd love to help with this! Here's things to know about software updates with AT&T. Take a look at the requirements to update that is listed in the preceding link. If it meets all the requirements, then go ahead and manually perform the software update for your Samsung Galaxy Note. Let us know if this helped!

@Baan212
At&t model androids will not update out of the USA or off of ATT service. This is why I won’t ship a used At&t phone out of the USA)

@Baan212 You might want to take a look at this list, first.
There's a bigger suffix, after the "950U" part; that part# is indicative of almost any model sold in the US; the suffix narrows it down.
If you have an actual AT&T model#, then the above is true.
If it's a non-Branded (or other non-ATT) device, then you have to get your updates from another source (Samsung direct, when they release for the un-branded models, or another carrier, etc).
The AT&T ROM (update), while difficult to install if it's not a "match", will, in most cases, make a "brick" out of your phone, IFf it's otherwise-branded or non-branded (brick = non-functioning device).

The only way you get a software update is from At&t.
