We understand you want to reactivate your PREPAID account after 2 years of inactivity. AT&T definitively appreciates the fact you want to restore service with AT&T. I will be happy to answer the questions for you.
Yes, you will need to get a new SIM card and a new phone number. Your old account has expired and you would to start a brand new phone. Here is a link to our store locator. Just enter zip code and do a search, it will locate the stores nearest to you. I recommend you click on “Shop this store:” when you find an ideal location. This way you can setup a appointment so you can quickly get in and out.
