Samsung Galaxy S7, Getting weak signal after updates

Can anyone tell me why my signal level has dropped compared to what it was after I installed both android and att updates to my Samsung galaxy s7.

there are places I used to get signal and now I get a circle with a line through it in those places where I used to have 2 bars.

Anyone else have this problem and what did you do to fix it? there is rumor that att cuts signal through an update the older the phone gets.

Thank you for reaching out to us today. We'll be happy to assist you with your reception issues. Let's try resetting your phone's data cache to see if that helps.


Go to: Settings > Apps. Tap on the three dots in the upper-right corner of the Apps menu. Go to: Show system apps > Media storage > Storage > Clear Data and Clear Cache. After this is complete, restart your phone and then try to use it again.
