S8 oreo update

I have updated to the new oreo operating system on my galaxy s8. But none of the new features that is associated with the new version on working. The keyboard does not have the gif or stickers. I have compared my phone with another s8 that has the update as well. The only difference is I am with at&t and they are on Verizon.  Is this an at&t thing? If so why???

features!! At&t needs to get their act together especially with the high
prices we pay!

Here is the link for the S8 update.  Samsung did a fix for the issue and the update for this phone needs to be downloaded again.


At Best Buy, Samsung also has the Samsung Experience where there are Samsung associates who can help you with the issue.

That was totally useless. All numbers match and when I try to check for
updates the phone says it is up to date. This is really getting annoying.
The phone is not even a year old. So what do you want me to try now or do
you even know???? I have rest the phone and will not do that again. So
someone needs to fix this.

-##Called at&t tech support again and after having one of the techs hang up
on me I spoke with a supervisor. He said I have to go to a store to have
the phone flashed. Anyone reading this your best bet is to get a new
carrier!!!!

What the heck is that?! Never hear of getting a phone flashed! So is this at&t solution to none of us having the gif & sticker button on keyboard? That's crazy to me! We pay $900 for a phone and the first substantial upgrade sent is missing feature unless WE do extra work?! Pretty irritating but REALLY unacceptable!!

Just download Gboard from the app store..  enable and your done.

I have not and wasntold in have to go by abstore to have it flashed so not
only am I paying all this money but now I have to find time between work
and my kids to go by a store. I have been on the phone with a tech and
Samsung. I have also been told at&t is not allowing the full upgrade. That
it will come at a later date. I am now looking into other carriers since
everyone else has had no issues. Only at&t .
