S6 edge plus won't update to latest security patch

I own the galaxy s6 edge plus. It has android 6.0.1 base band version G928AUCSC3PJ1 My phone is stuck on the Oct 2016 security patch. I've done a compete system reset and still won't update to latest security patch. My wife has the same phone but she has the newest version of Android on her phone. Not sure what else to do.

Welcome to the Community Forums. I understand how important it is to update your phone to the current software.  I would be happy to help you with this.
 
The phone needs to meet the following requirements to receive the over the air updates:
 
  • Be designed for use on the AT&T network (AT&T logo on the device or startup screen)
  • Able to get an AT&T signal
  • IMEI updated in our system
  • Wi-Fi connection
  • Sufficient battery charge
 
If your device meets the above requirements but is still unable to update please use our Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool.  Make sure your device is correctly selected, and then for the issue choose Software.  Please run through all the steps.
