Remove Address book sync notification from bar

It can definitely become a nuisance when you wish to stop Address Book notifications. The Address Book completely shut down at the end of last month, so therefore there is no need for any syncing.

Depending on the make and model phone you have, you can stop the sync notices in your Settings. You will need to access your Settings > All tab > Applications or Apps > Scroll to locate Address Book, tap Disable.

You can also access your Contacts > Menu icon > Settings > Address Book, if you had ever signed up for the service, you may need to proceed here to disable the sync. When the feature discontinued last month, the auto sync system should have already been turned off. In some cases, the setting will need to be manually turned off.
