Recording audio messages send successfully but nothing is heard by recipient.
With my galaxy s7 I was able to attach and send audio recordings to my contacts. When I tried it with my galaxy s8, I hit the attachment, I record and send successfully but every single person I've sent it to sees it come through but nothing records. Do I have a setting set wrong? Am I doing something wrong?

This is not a common messaging problem but I am confident I can help you fix it!
From what I’ve seen, you should be able to send audio messages as an attachment or recording natively in the messaging app, then immediately sending the message. Have you already tried the other method? Also, is this happening with everyone you try to send an audio message to and has it always been this way?
I recommend testing the microphone with a voice recording app and playing back the audio to be sure there aren’t any hardware problems.
