Pictures

I got a galaxy s6 Active in February of 2016. I had a galaxy s4. When I set up my s6 active, my photos from my s4 automatically transferred over. There's no SD slot on the s6. Long story short, I had to get a new S6 because the screen went bad, but I wasn't able to get the photos off of it (cpu) before I sent it it, and they won't transfer from my broken s6 to my new s6. I've tried Drive and photo's, but nothing is working. The last time I moved my photos to my computer was in November, have 3 kids, would be nice to have those pictures. Any help is appreciated.

Hi there @Natemc11,

I’d hate to lose the photos on my device, so I completely understand the importance of trying to recover these.  It’d be my pleasure to help get this figured out.

Did you have a Gmail account synced to your old device?  If so, you may be able to recover your photos by syncing your Gmail to the new device.  Anything which was backed up to this account will then populate on your new device.  Since you’ve already tried Google Drive and photos, this is going to be the next best way of recovering these photos without having possession of the phone.

Please, feel free to reach out again if this doesn’t work for you.
