A couple of updates ago, my phone app started behaving very stupidly: Whenever connection was made (whether I was calling or being called), the app would "minimize" (I apologize if my terminology is not correct; when I say "minimize", I mean the app "disappears", but keeps operating and the notification bar turns green with a flashing phone icon at the left). This is obviously very annoying, as I have to then swipe down, then tap the phone notification, THEN tap the phone's keypad button before I can actually use any of the phone's keys -- which I do on almost all calls I make.
Today I noticed that my text messaging app seems to do something similar. I was texting back and forth with someone and therefore left the text app "open". Whenever I received a text, the app would "minimize". (But with nothing in the notification bar.. I had to re-open the app to see the message that just arrived; And because the app had been "active" when the message arrived, I didn't get an audible alert).
I don't know if I've provided enough details, but hopefully this will trigger something in someone's mind regarding a setting I can change.

We can see how this would be troublesome. Let's see what can be done. Have you tried to clear the cache on the apps? If not, swipe down from the Notifications bar, the select Settings icon>Apps, the choose the desired app, Storage>CLEAR Cache. If the apps continue to minimize after this, follow the steps to restart your device. If you're still having the issue after, please let us know so we may investigate further.

After this, test the functionalities of your device. If you are still experiencing the issue past this point, the problem likely lies with the device. If you aren't, then there is likely an app causing this to occur. Let us know how this goes for you!
